Vinod has been appointed as CEO in 2017 responsible for the leadership and strategy of PDC, he is also the CEO of BDS VirCon. Previously he was an investment banker with JPMorgan and then Westpac. Vinod has a B.Engg. from Bangalore University, a MBA from Melbourne University and is a Graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
David has over 35 years’ experience in the UK, North American, and Australian structural steel industries, with over 15 years in management roles. David joined PDC in 2012 as Estimating Manager based in Perth, and transferred back to North America in 2014 to assume his current role focussed on client relationships in North America. David has extensive experience in estimating, sales, and cost management for a variety of major construction projects in the resource, commercial, industrial, public works, and bridge sectors.
David has over 35 years of professional experience in fabrication, US,UK, Middle East & Australian detailing, project management, estimating and BIM coordination covering building projects, industrial, infrastructure and utilities.
His broad range of experience covers fabrication practices through to strategic planning implementation.
David’s core focus is to lead, plan, organize, resource and control production within the PDC organization to ensure that projects are executed efficiently, on time, within budget and to industry standards.
Prior to joining PDC, David held various Project & Detailing Management roles in the UK for a major Structural Steel fabrication company. He has had major involvement in dozens of projects in the UK & North American Markets.
Ian has over 37 years’ in the Construction industry with experience in New Zealand, Australia and the US Structural Steel Industry. He has spent the last 20 years in Project, Sales and Estimation Management rolls. Ian joined PDC in 2009 as a detailer based in New Zealand detailing projects in NZ, Australian and US before moving into Project Management and Estimation.
Ian has been involved in some of PDC’s largest Commercial projects including the City Of Hope, Meadowlands Xanadu, Casino Arizona Resort, Bank of America, WTC3 and Union Station.
Jason has 15 years’ experience as a project manager, detail draftsman and estimating manager in the oil & gas and mining industries. Jason has detailed a wide range of structures on Greenfield and Brownfield projects as well as project managing detail projects. Jason has extensive knowledge and experience in materials handling, steel construction & chute work. Jason is adept in BIM technologies and is capable of providing an integrated detail approach to projects.
Since 2014, Jason has lead PDC’s estimating team in Perth. Jason has gained extensive experience over this period and specialises in estimating oil, gas, mining and industrial projects.
Kenny has over 24 years of Structural Steel Detailing experience and over 12 years in Management roles. As Regional Manager, he leads our multi-disciplinary office in Asia Pacific, and brings to PDC a wealth of knowledge within the Commercial industry covering both the UK and North American markets. Kenny has been involved in some of PDC’s largest Commercial projects including the Casino Arizona Resort, New York’s East River Science Park and Rego Park Mall.
Kenny’s experience, leadership and relationships on a global platform is key to PDC’s Engineering & Detailing growth and development in Asia Pacific and the Americas.
John joined PDC in 1977 and was made a partner in 1992.
John has worked on most of PDC's major projects, either in a drafting or managerial capacity. Each project requires a director to step into the role of Project Director and John most recently oversaw PDC's work on the Cloudbreak Ore Handling Facility for Fortescue Metals Group.
John coordinates the teams to ensure productivity is maintained and projects run efficiently and to schedule. With his broad knowledge of the industry and relevant design standards and specifications, John solves the more complex technical issues. His personal commitment to implementing the latest in 3D technology and quality control systems makes John a driving force in ensuring PDC's goals are met.
David joined PDC in 2011 as PDC’s Commercial Manager. He has extensive experience in an international engineering, design, steel detailing and BIM environment and has over 16 years of commercial, corporate, contract and business management experience. David has provided commercial and strategic guidance to a diverse range of oil and gas, mining, commercial, industrial, and urban design projects in Australia and North America. Additionally, David has been instrumental in the development and improvement of many of PDC’s commercial and operational processes and systems.
Alastair has over 10 years’ experience working in construction management, design & construct, strategic estimating, draftsperson & building design, BIM and project management. He is currently based on site consulting to the Destination Brisbane Consortium (DBC) in the position of Project BIM Manager. DBC is delivering the $3 billion Queens Wharf development, which will cover more than 26 hectares across land and water.
After completing his diploma and working as an architectural modeller creating large Revit retail & commercial projects, Alastair furthered his studies completing a Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management & Economics) with Honours, focusing on main contractor’s views and perceptions of BIM; benefits, barriers & implementation strategies. He completed this degree while working as a strategic estimator on traditional, design & construct and public private partnership commercial construction bids, valued up to $230M.
His studies and industry experience have prepared him for his current position as BIM Operations Manager (AUS) for PDC , where his roles vary from the day to day management of BIM team, through to the development and implementation of BIM plans and strategies, liaising with a variety of project stakeholders. His background of design and cost management allow him to specialise in utilising BIM, to add value and increase efficiency for the pre-contract and design management teams.
Grace has more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources and has worked in multiple industries including Fast-moving Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Insurance, Real Estate, Retail and Consulting.
Grace brings in to PDC her capability to establish and execute fresh strategic HR initiatives across regions allowing her to further develop PDC’s talents. She envisions creating a culture that leverages on the expertise and knowledge of the team while nurturing a climate of care and trust. Given her extensive knowledge in Corporate Human Resources, Grace values development and engagement starting with her maintaining effective coaching relationships with her leadership team.
Grace is accountable for ensuring that PDC remains competitive with external markets through proper talent development and engagement programs. She is tasked to develop the next wave of leaders by providing trainings and structured career paths across all departments.
